Precisely from the exponential growth of members and access to that group, the idea of this new service, called FAQ Normativa Inclusione, was born. “The Facebook group – explains Fogarolo himself – continues to grow and has reached today a good 57.000 subscribers and about 30.000 accesses a day, making it extremely complicated to respond in a timely and effective way to all requests. It should also be considered that Facebook’s search tools are neither too efficient nor too friendly, so it is not at all easy to find what interests you in an archive which, after seven years of activity of the group, counts tens of thousands of messages. From all this, therefore, the idea of offering a more functional search system was born, selecting the most significant questions and of general interest and organizing a rational classification, with hierarchical categories, but also with keywords (tags) and the possibility of a free search that, being the archive much more contained, works much better than in Facebook”.
That said, the service has been set up and should certainly be recommended to use, thinking about how much need there is of good information, curated by real experts and easily accessible to all.
Below is a list of the nine main categories into which it is divided, the archive made by Fogarolo, each of which refers to the numerous sub-categories: Identification and certification – Quantification of resources – PEI, an Individual Educational programme – The PDP, Teaching Plan Custom – Other planning documents for the inclusion – working Groups and assignments – Inclusion and rights – to Organise the inclusion – Evaluation, retention, stay in the childhood.
Flavio Fogarolo, we recall in conclusion, is a former teacher, who for several years was referent for disability at the Provincial School Office of Vicenza. It continues to deal, in various respects, with pupils with special educational needs and inclusion. (S. B.)
